Push Pin

When you want to remember something you can write it down on a piece of paper and then use a push pin to stick it somewhere. My mind is a cork board. I claim to have terrible memory but somethings stick as if purposely placed and secured with a push pin. I haven’t figured out how to use the push pins or how the cork board is organized. For example, one note keeps coming into my mind from today when I was grocery shopping. I asked myself a question out loud and a girl walking hurriedly by answered my question with a smile as she left the isle. I don’t remember the question or the answer. I do remember a free spirited, curly haired girl looking at me and then quickly leaving. Normally, strangers don’t talk to each other, especially in grocery stores. I guess she reminded me of myself because I’m always interrupting people’s lives like that. Interrupting has a bad connotation but I didn’t see it that way. Anyway, that is tacked onto my board.
